SPONSORED BY MERSEY RAW

As Christmas approaches, many pet owners find themselves tempted to share the joy of the festive season with their canine companions. It is only natural to want to include your furry friend in the celebrations but with so many tempting treats around that are not healthy for our four-legged friends, it important to prepare something for your pet that is healthy, safe and nutritious.

The good news is that turkey, the traditional meat served up as our own Christmas dinner can be a safe and healthy treat for your dog. Turkey is an excellent source of lean protein, which is essential for muscle maintenance and overall canine health and good for dogs that maybe need to watch their weight.

One of the best ways to reward your dog this Christmas is to make some tasty party treats using raw turkey mince from Mersey Raw. Made with 100% single protein turkey meat and bone, this mince is perfect for dogs with allergies or sensitivities to other proteins. The high-quality turkey meat is rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals that promote healthy muscle growth, skin and coat health, and overall wellbeing. Turkey is an excellent source of essential amino acids, iron, and zinc, which help to support your dog’s immune system and keep them healthy and happy. Additionally, the omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids found in turkey help to keep your dog’s skin and coat healthy and shiny.  Turkey mince is easy to digest and perfect for dogs of all ages and sizes.
